Overview
The Lodge is located in the magnificent Chilcotin Mountains, just 65 miles northeast of Whistler and provides you with the perfect combination of luxurious accommodation in a beautiful and remote mountain lodge and some of the world’s most exciting snowmobile terrain. The forest, lakes and mountains are covered with a thick blanket of snow up to 5 feet deep. We operate in the transition zone providing the best of all worlds — magnificent mountains, an abundance of dry powder snow and plenty of sunshine. With all the past mining and logging activity in the area we now have access to an abundance of trail systems taking us high above the tree line into snow covered alpine meadows. Once in the alpine it is a snowmobiler’s paradise with miles and miles of virgin untracked powder snow to be conquered. You are on top of the world with breathtaking views of huge glaciers. We have four main snowmobiling areas up to 9,000 ft and can usually access three of them right from the resort. The variety of trails and terrain for beginners to experts brings us snowmobiler’s not only from all over North America, but also from Europe. For additional activities we offer groomed cross-country ski trails, but also feature backcountry and heli-skiing. On the lake, we clear an ice rink for skating, hockey and broomball. You can also try ice fishing, tobogganing and snowshoeing.
Accommodation
The spacious lodge rooms have private bath, TV, phone, balcony and a scenic view of the frozen lake. After a full day of snowmobiling join your guides, group or new friends for dinner. Beer, wine and spirits are available. Let yourself be pampered with delicious meals and relax in the Cowboy Bar or in front of the 30 ft. high blazing river-rock fireplace. Enjoy the many amenities of our unique mountain lodge including sauna, outdoor hot tub and fitness room. The resort is accessible by car year round. Van or Heli Transfer from Vancouver or Whistler is available at additional cost.
