Sun Peaks Mountain Resort

Sun Peaks is one of British Columbia's best-kept secrets located just 45 minutes from Kamloops and 4.25 hours from Vancouver. Known for its sunny climate, it receives more than 2,000 hours of sunshine per year, and more than five metres of snow. Novices will love the uncrowded slopes and detachable quad chairlifts. Modern, luxurious accommodation and high-speed lifts serving new terrain have transformed Sun Peaks from a local ski-hill into an international resort. The uncrowded ski area offers a mixture of open bowls, beautifully groomed cruisers and glade skiing, and a well planned trail system means that all levels of skier can ski down from any lift.
