Big White is British Columbia’s second largest ski resort and is consistently voted one of the top ski resorts in the world. The resort is located 56 km (35 miles) southeast of Kelowna and boasts more than 2,150 acres of snow-country more than 100 trails. Over 24 feet of 100% natural champagne powder falls a year at Big White. It is cold enough to keep the snow light and fluffy, yet perfect for skiing, riding, cross country skiing and winter activities.
Still relatively undiscovered Big White's modern alpine village offers the ultimate mountain experience. Unhurried, unpretentious and friendly Big White’s Main Street is actually a ski run, where guests can ski to their doorstep, take a stroll through the village to shop or dine in world-class restaurants and pubs. Big White is Canada’s largest totally ski-in/ski-out resort village. Big White Ski Resort has one of the largest International Ski Schools with programs designed for all ages and abilities. Snowhosts provide daily complimentary ski tours of the mountain for those wishing a guided adventure. |
