BC & Alberta Ski Adventure
Big White, Banff, Lake Louise, Fernie, Kimberley, Manning Park Resort
During this 12-Day Ski trip you will get to know the best Ski Resorts in British Columbia and Alberta. From Vancouver travel to Big White Ski Resort in the heart of the Okanagan Valley. You will notice dramatic changes in scenery as you travel through the snow-covered landscape of the interior to Big White. As you gain elevation you get the first impression of Big White’s Masses of Snow.

Big White is well known for its snow. They get an average of 24.5 feet of light champagne powder every year. The next morning get ready for 2,500 vertical feet of pure exhilaration. Brace yourself for epic runs through bottomless dry Okanagan powder, basking in our legendary sunshine. Met the different mountain faces - from beginner to expert. Enjoy the uncrowded slopes, wide open groomed runs and bowls, all blessed with abundant snowfalls of feather-light powder. After two days of enjoying the numerous mountain trails drive back to Kelowna and on to the Rocky Mountains.

Experience two outstanding mountain villages Banff and Lake Louise, three impressive Ski areas, hundreds of shopping stores and restaurants and many après ski opportunities. Your so called “Big 3” Ski Pass offers you a diversified ski program with scenic vistas at Lake Louise, 100 % natural powder snow at Sunshine Village and excellent prepared slopes at Banff and Norquay Ski Area.

From Banff you reach Fernie after a 3-hour drive through the Kootenay National Park along the West Ridge of the Rocky Mountains. Here you experience world famous light and deep powder conditions, as well an excellent mix of open bowls, tree runs and marked runs for all levels of skiing. Face shots are a regular thing, so bundle up. Mountains of snow, mountains of adventure!  An amazing 29 feet of natural snow blankets the ski area’s impressive five alpine bowls nestled in the majestic limestone cliffs of the Lizard Range. Fernie is fastest growing resort in Canada, “top ten in North America’, ‘most improved’ and ‘best new lifts’ are just a few of the notable awards this resort has earned. More than 105 slopes are waiting to be discovered. When will you ski in Fernie’s fluffy Champagne Powder?

Leaving Fernie you go on a short drive to the "bavarian village" of Kimberley. Mild winter temperatures make a perfect opportunity to get outside once again and enjoy the winter scenery. From cruising the slopes of the Alpine Resort, to skiing the groomed cross country ski trails, to snowshoeing in the quiet forests and alpine surrounding the resort, there’s always a great excuse to be outside! Try a snowmobile tour, visit an alpine backcountry lodge, or shop in Kimberley’s many stores and boutiques.

Continue on to Manning Park Resort located in the heart of the Cascade Mountains, just of Highway #3. Manning Park is renowned for its dry snow and variety of Snowplay Experiences. In addition to alpine skiing and snowboarding, the rustic and family-oriented resort offers a taste of classically groomed cross-country skiing, Nordic skate skiing, snowshoeing, backcountry touring, telemarking, and outdoor ice-skating. After a day of skiing at Manning Park you finish your exciting ski vacation in Vancouver.
