During this 10-Day Ski Trip you will get to know the best Ski Resorts in the Rocky Mountains: Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper and Fernie. After your arrival overnight at the exclusive Paliser in Hotel, located in downtown Calgary. Pick up your 4x4 or SUV car and travel through scenic Crowsnest Pass to Fernie. At Fernie Alpine Resort you experience world famous light and deep powder conditions, as well an excellent mix of open bowls, tree runs and marked runs for all levels of skiing. Face shots are a regular thing, so bundle up. Mountains of snow, mountains of adventure! An amazing 29 feet of natural snow blankets the ski area’s impressive five alpine bowls nestled in the majestic limestone cliffs of the Lizard Range. Fernie is fastest growing resort in Canada, “top ten in North America’, ‘most improved’ and ‘best new lifts’ are just a few of the notable awards this resort has earned. More than 105 slopes are waiting to be discovered. When will you ski in Fernie’s fluffy Champagne Powder?
You reach Banff after a 3 hour drive through the Kootenary National Park along the West Ridge of the Rocky Mountains. The next four days experience two outstanding mountain villages Banff and Lake Louise, Yoho National Park, three impressive Ski areas, hundreds of shopping stores and restaurants and many après ski opportunities. Your so called “Big 3” Ski Pass offers you a diversified ski program with scenic vistas at Lake Louise, 100 % natural powder snow at Sunshine Village and excellent prepared slopes at Banff and Norquay Ski Area.
Travel along the scenic Icefields Parkway also called "the most scenic mountain highway in the world" to Jasper. Winter is an amazing time in Jasper National Park, a frozen paradise, offering uncrowned alpine recreation. Skiers and boarders love the driest powder in the Canadian Rockies at Marmot Basin ski area. Marmot Basin has a tremendous variety of terrain for all abilities, uncrowded slopes and dry powder snow.
Take the Yellowhead Highway to Edmonton, Alberta's capital city. Edmonton offers a wide variety of places to go and activities to enjoy. Visit the West Edmonton Mall. The world's largest entertainment and shopping centre is home to over 800 stores, 110 eating establishments, and an indoor amusement park with a tropical rain forest, bungee jumping, and a water park. On you way from Edmonton your deluxe winter adventure comes to and end. Drop off your car at the Calgary airport.
